| Taffy and Jean started the company forty years ago. They developed their original, post art school activities of producing hand thrown and slip cast pottery for the crafts market into ceramics with a significant and increasingly architectural accent. Taffy’s flamboyance and Jean’s artistic nature were to prove a winning formula, eventually elevating ceramic and mosaic swimming pool art to a totally new level. This vision would transcend all ‘traditional’ and ‘established’ thinking of that time and of today.As the partnership (and the family) developed so the business expanded, eventually drawing in both Nick and Shon, two of their four sons. Nick and Shon are now the two directors steering Craig Bragdy and driving sales - travelling widely in the process. Meetings are with clients, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, consultants, contractors and pool builders to discuss projects and ensure a complete understanding of their requirements. Good and clear channels of communication are required between client representatives and relevant personnel at the company's base in north Wales. Whilst Jean remains director in chief and over-sees crucial elements of design, today the company employs 90 designers, artists, mural makers and technicians who have collectively developed the extraordinary and diverse skills required for work of such individuality, scale and quality.
